Hours
Tomorrow’s Stars will operate Monday through Friday with the exception of school holidays and closings. 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Nap Time
Nap time for children 12 months to 5 years ranges between the hours of 12-3 pm.
Releasing Children
No child will be released to anyone but the parent unless we have written notice. Anyone given permission to pick up your child must show identification and be listed on the enrollment form under Emergency Contact/Pickup. Tomorrow’s Stars employees are not permitted to transport children unless they are immediately related to the child and are on the Emergency Contact/Pickup list. If a parent(s) or person(s) authorized by the parent(s) appears to be physically and/or emotionally impaired to the extent that, in the judgement of the director and/or staff member, the child would be placed at risk, the center shall not release to the impaired individual.
Staff members will attempt to contact an alternative person authorized by the parent. If the center is unable to make alternative arrangements, the center shall call the 24-hour State Hotline at 1-877-NJ-ABUSE to seek further assistance for the child.
Pick up
Doors close at 6:00 p.m. Any parent coming for their child after the specified time will be charged at pick up $10 for each 10 minutes or any part of those 10 minutes. If your child is not picked up within 30 minutes of closing, by law we are obligated to contact DCF. We will first contact those on your emergency form authorized for pick up. Please be courteous and phone in the event of an emergency or if you will be late at pick up.
Curriculum
Each classroom is designed to function with a monthly calendar which is sent home to inform parents of our monthly activities. Daily schedules include circle time, structured and unstructured play, daily language arts, math and science activities. All children (regardless of age) MUST arrive prior to “Group Time” which will set the activities for the day. The start of the day is at 9:30 a.m.
